"We are Cody and Dan, and we run iMove Clinic"
"We've got three other clinics in Hamilton and Oakville. We've got a pretty big following and it started to attract a lot of people from the Niagara Region so we ended up opening a location in Grimsby to come to the people. Myself and Dan are both residents of Grimsby so we wanted to be a part of the community, open a business and give back to the community"
"The story behind iMove is we essentially believe that movement is medicine and that if you move well, you'll feel well. We really try to not only follow that through in our lives, but we hope through our treatment approach we can instill these behaviours in our community and helping people get back to the movement that they love to do"
Cody: "I really like the detective aspect of what we do in that it's constant problem solving in every patient that we see. Often where people are in pain, is not the true problem but more of a symptom of other things that are going on"
Dan: "I love that connection that I get not only with the individual I'm working with but also I'm very privileged that sometimes it extends to the rest of the family, whether it's a spouse or a kid. You really get that connection to the individuals and the community"
"One of the techniques that we use here is Neurokinetic Therapy. Neurokinetic Therapy is a great, unique approach that we use that allows us to identify the root cause of pain. Rather than searching around and treating symptoms, it helps us get right to the source and address that issue rather than putting a bandaid on it and just treating symptoms."
"Here at iMove, we treat not only muscular, ligament, and sports injuries but we'll work on things like breath work, jaw alignment issues and scar therapy as well"
You can find iMove Clinic at 1 Livingston Ave, Grimsby
