The Grimsby Downtown BIA would like to advise members that Ben Burns has resigned from his position on the BIA Board of Management.
During his time on the Board, Ben was a dedicated, engaged volunteer who brought genuine enthusiasm for Downtown Grimsby and the businesses that call it home. We are especially grateful for the time he gave outside of regular Board meetings, his willingness to lend a hand when needed, and the care he brought to representing the interests of the downtown membership.
“Ben brought a tremendous amount of value to the Board, particularly through his marketing experience, creativity and understanding of the downtown business community. Beyond his role as a Board member, he was always willing to volunteer his time, share his perspective and step in to support our initiatives," said Mark Wood, Chair of Downtown Grimsby. "On behalf of the Board, I want to sincerely thank Ben for everything he contributed to Downtown Grimsby. We wish him all the best and look forward to continuing to see him as part of our downtown community.”
We are fortunate that Ben remains part of the Downtown Grimsby community, and we look forward to staying connected. We sincerely appreciate his commitment during his time as a Board member and thank him for giving his time in service of his fellow downtown businesses.
The BIA Board continues its work on behalf of the membership, with its upcoming initiatives, events and priorities moving forward as planned.
